Things were great with the house and its nice and quiet this far north, but still several bars/restaurants within a short walk. Best of both worlds. Love the house and location. “We had such an AMAZING family vacation. The house was great as was Antonio! Vicki was very helpful in getting us our golf cart rentals, snorkeling trips, massages & a personal Chef booked. We had all of our needs taken care of!! The house is great. Loved the pool and the dock leading out to the Crystal blue water!! We have no complaints. I would recommend spending the extra money and taking the commuter flight to the island. We took the 530 water ferry from Belize City on Ocean ferry which was 30 min late in leaving and packed to the gills. A bit scary they fit that many people on the boat. Do yourself a favor and take the plane. Also, buy your alcohol at the airport once you arrive. You will save money as it’s really expensive once you get to the island!! Would highly recommend checking out Rojo a short golf cart ride from the house. It’s a great place to have good drinks & food!! Loved every minute of our stay!”
“We had a wonderful week staying at Tropical Escape! The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location right on the beach was amazing! The water is so beautiful. We enjoyed snorkeling, sitting by the pool, walking on the beach, and all the restaurants nearby. Definitely can’t wait to go back! Recommended for: Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.”
“The home was really clean and lots of room for us and the 2 other couples that came with us! The views are great and it is really nice to have the pool there to hang out by. We were also able to use the 2-man sea kayaks to go out to the reef and snorkel. We ate at a number of very good restaurants that were within walking distance along the beach. Antonio also takes great care of the property and the guests. All and all a great week in Belize! We even got to meet the owners while we were there and they were a lot of fun! Will definitely be going back to the Tropical Escape again!!! Recommended for: Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Romantic Getaway.”
“3 couples shared this home. After staying here for a week we would all return to this place again and may rebook for next year. If we do it is going to be for two weeks. The care taker Antonio was wonderful as well as his son who helps him out most days. Very friendly and brought fresh lemons for the tree in the back yard that we managed to squeeze and make fresh lemonade out of. The road to get her is a little rough in places but only adds to the quaintness of the island. You do get used to it. Getting through the airport in Belize city was a challenge as they wanted an address of the house we rented and we did not have one. Customs official told us to just put down a resort name and that would be fine. I think they wanted to keep the line moving it worked and we had a great time.”
