Lobster Lovers: The Clock Is Ticking!

Do you love lobster, fresh from the Caribbean Sea?

If so, the clock is ticking on the Caribbean Spiny Lobster Season - it closes at 11:59 PM on February 28th!

It’s not unusual for restaurants to offer specials in the last week of the season, as it’s illegal to have lobster in your freezer come March 1. Last year, we ate so much lobster in that last week at a discount, we almost didn’t miss lobster during the closed season!

Why does lobster season close? It’s during the “molting time” when female lobsters nurture eggs, creating additional, delicious offspring for us to enjoy! It allows lobsters to repopulate for our dining pleasure.

If you can’t make it by then, don’t worry - Caribbean Spiny Lobster Season reopens again July 1, and San Pedro hosts one of the premier Lobster Fests in Central America!

If your schedule allows, we highly suggest swooping in for the last week of Lobster Season - check out our availability and BYOLB - Bring Your Own Lobster Bibs!
